Heat Demand: Global Design Lab is a seminar series organized by GW AEE that aims to confront how students can take actionable steps to make a meaningful impact in supporting the communities most impacted by climate change.
NREL Solar District Cup
Fall 2022 - Present

GW AEE has competed in two cohorts of NREL Solar District Cup, 2022-23 and 2023-24. This most recent competition we won 3rd Place in our division. This design team provides industry-relevant design experience to undergraduate members, training them on all parts of the solar installation process from site analysis to design and permitting.
Advanced Energy Group

Graduate students involved with GW AEE have the opportunity to work with Advanced Energy Group and can take part in Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Training hosted with the National Chapter of AEE.
